The Supreme Court or His Royal Majesty's Supreme Court is the final court of appeal in Realeza for all civil as well as criminal cases. It also hears cases of greatest public or constitutional importance. The supreme court also has powers of Judicial Review. It can overturn any legislation passed by the King, for an example, that legislation is found to be ultra vires to the powers in legislation allowing it to be made.

The Supreme court constists of the Chief Justice and 4 other justice's appointed by the King. The five justices do not all hear every case. Unless there are circumstances requiring a larger panel, a case is usually heard by a panel of three justices. More than three justices may sit on a panel where the case is of "high constitutional importance" or "great public importance"; The composition of panels is ultimately determined by the Chief Justice. To avoid a tie, all cases are heard by a panel containing an odd number of justices.

Judges

The court is composed of the chief justice and four other justices of the supreme court. All justices of the supreme court are appointed by the King by warrent under his hand and seal. Only a citizen may become a judge of the Supreme Court as per Article 79 of the constitution.

Every person appointed to be a Judge of the Supreme Court, before he enters upon his office, makes an oath of Allegiance to the King his heirs and successors and the constitution.
